A KNIGHT AMONG MEN
A Knight proud of his beliefs
He writes them down for all to see
Not just with pen and paper
But with more than that
He writes them eloquently
With thoughtful deeds
As he takes the time to write little notes
That says he understands
And the time he takes to sit and chat a bit
And the time to hold a hand
And to smile and to say a word
And with loving compassion
He's always near at hand
To understand, to listen
To hug a tear away
Letting no words escape his lips
Except words of goodwill
And always leading the way to righteous
All evil thoughts are stilled
As he does the best he can for others
Truly a Knight among men!

I AM CONTENT
The heavy thunder clouds
Crash and rumble over head
The weather grows worst
Frequent shafts of lighting
Light up the darkness
The heavens break open
The rain comes down like a waterfall
In spite of the storm raging outside
And even if it never stops
I am unconcerned
For all I need to bring the sunshine back
Is the thought of My Knight
His soft golden locks tumbling of his shoulders
Bringing memories of sun filled days
And the color of his hazel eyes
Bring memories of crystal clear skies
And the sound of his laughter
Bringing the gurgling of the rushing brook
And I am content!
